i got these cartilage hoops for my junior prom. i wore them daily since then and i haven’t experienced any issues with rusting. My biggest concern with these earrings is the hinge.Apparently my worries were superfluous.Clasp is tough but simple to put earrings on and does not get loose. Easy to put on because of the hinge.
