Mepilex Border Heel Foam Dressing (282790) is a 5-layer, all-in-one foam dressing shaped to fit the heel and manage wounds in areas around the heel. Mepilex Heel Dressing can be used for pressure ulcer prevention and exuding wound healing. The exceptional 5-layer structure is designed to absorb and retain exudate, making it ideal for moderate to highly exuding wounds like diabetic foot ulcers, traumatic wounds, pressure ulcers, and other secondary healing wounds. The highly breathable film backing that provides a waterproof barrier allows this foam dressing to be left in place for multiple days depending on the draining levels. Mepilex Border Heel uses Safetac technology to provide a gentle application, removal, and overall environment that help reduce the risk of maceration.
