This is a vintage Sarah Coventry "Moonflower" brooch. This piece, designed in 1967, features a silver-tone, open-work flower design with a faux pearl at the center. From an estate sale. The brooch is approximately 3 inches in diameter. It is made of metal alloy and faux pearl. The "Moonflower" design is characterized by textured, twisted wire petals that create a filigree effect. It was sold through home parties rather than in stores. The brooch is signed "Sarah Cov". It was part of the "Moon Flower" collection from 1966
