He has launched brands such as NAISSANCE and WIND AND SEA, establishing himself as a fashion designer both domestically and internationally. He also has close relationships with a lot of celebrities, including Takuya Kimura (Kimutaku) and Yosuke Kubozuka, who wear the brands he designs.
Kumagai is relaunching GDC (G-D-C), a brand that enjoyed cult popularity from the late 90s to the 2000s, in 2025.
A retro-sporty nylon jacket set-up that can be used for both street wear and training, offering a relaxed feel.
